Problem with WhatsApp

Hi, I have a Chinese version BS Help. I can't get WhatsApp to run in the background and only notifications when I open the App. I have checked the settings many times and are all correct. I  live in Hong Kong SAR. can anyone please help? Thanks.

Sorry about that, you may try to lock the whatsapp at the blackstage as the gif shows

I think you can turn off the long standby mode and smart background management in the "battery"! Maybe it can help you!
